About us
The Hostal Nuevas Naciones is located on the old site of the posada Las Tres Naciones. Antonio Lopez Rodriguez bought the old posada in 1918, where he and his familiy received their guests, complete with horses!
At the end of the sixties, the old posada was torn down and the building where the hostel is today, was built.
Antonio's daughter, Maria Lopez Alcarria, took over the business after her father died, and called the new hostel ,,Nuevas Naciones'' (New Nations), after Antonio's posada Las Tres Naciones (The Three Nations). Antonio's daughter still lives in the building. She is ninety-one and has now passed the hotel into the hands of the new generation.
Together with its predecessor, Hostal Nuevas Naciones is one of the oldest hostals of Granada.
